Original 1948 Coca Cola Rocking Bottle Neon Clock Swihart Prod. Very Rare
NOTICE: THIS IS A PICK-UP ITEM ONLY! This is the well known and very rare 1948-Coca-Cola "rocking bottle" Neon Clock , that once had the Coke Bottle in "rocking motion " when it worked! When they are in mint working condition...
I was told by the Estate owner , that when this "Rocking Bottle" clock stopped rocking correctly, it was modified inside the clock...... so, now the bottle does not rock or move anymore, due to the bottle is now directly secured to the clock face. This clock motor works well..... The inside neon does not work, and it appears that some of the lettering was touched up, and the clocks outside front metal can was painted red. If you decide to replace the one in my clock. This clock was made by SWIHART PRODUCTS, and is about 20 inches in diameter. Both outside clock halves are made of Aluminum.... I checked with a magnet.This "DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH" clock is priced low enough to give you the extra room to fix it up and resale it, or for you to restore it...
